What is it that makes a Sony Bravia such a good watch?
Well...our parent site at Planet LED TV have spoken with some of the people at Sony in Canada to find out their take in the "Tech" that makes them so darned good.

But, in short, it's Sony's huge investment in image processing and how they apply that to every phase of the pictures you see on your screen's development. Yes, things like the Bravia Engine (image processor) help, as do the auto focus and screen brightner in 3D mode, but it's the overall package. It's the way the technology comes together to make the Sony Bravia a stand out 3D TV in every aspect.
Just look at the picture quality and I'm sure you will be won over! Certainly active 3D has an advantage over passive in terms of the 3D image quality and also the 3D area covered. And Sony have been very diligent in the way they have developed their 3D glasses for optimum 3D viewing (read the article for a full explanation - click here).
The downside with a Bravia, though, is the cost. A top end 55 inch will cost you over $3,000. A top end LG Cinema 3D TV will cost just over half that amount. Yes, they will do a fine job, but there is no doubt a Sony will offer that bit of extra quality, albeit "at the margin".
Anyway, I hope you find this and the full article helpful if you're currently in the market for a new 3D TV.
